This photo was take while
investigating a marine accident. Marine surveyors are often called upon to investigate incidents. The majority of these occur when the person concerned is either boarding or disembarking from the vessel. The boat may be a passenger tender or a charter boat. Also a swimmer or diver who dies as a result of that activity may also have the incident investigated. |

As a marine surveyor I have been called upon to attend on behalf of
a sick crew member brought ashore by a passing merchant ship. One of the tasks is to monitor and report the expenses incurred during the treatment in hospital. |
